Sunny Health & Fitness Mini Cycle Reviews |
Piece of junk

Right away this "bike" started making a vibrating clunk in the pedals. I went to my local bike shop and upgraded the pedals, which had to be special ordered because the pedals that came with the minibike are a non-standard size.
The pedals fixed most of the problem, but the treadling action would develop a weird vibration after about a half hour of use. We took the case off and made sure everything inside is well oiled. We were so shocked to find that the tensioning system for this bike is just a nylon strap that slips easily and doesn't really provide much resistance.
Other than that the bike worked ok for about a month until the crank arm bent and the pedals fell off. The treads that hold the pedals in were ground down to nothing just by the act of pedaling. This might not have happened with the original pedals, but I suspect it would have. The metal for the crank arms are just too soft.

| I did not buy this for myself. It was a gift for my sister-in-law. I bought it for her because she is over weight and needs to lose weight in order to start an ambulatory exercise regimine. It works fine. It just needs something to stabalize it. It moves around too much when on the floor. Other than that it's fine for what it's needed for. |
Clunker!

| This machine has a clunk with every rotation and the tensioner is a joke! DO NOT BUY! |
EXTREMELY cheaply made

| Received this as a gift, and am promptly shipping it back. Couldn't even get it assembled. Extremely cheap construction-- base did not line up, screws would not seat properly, base was not stable. VERY CHEAP! I definitely do NOT recommend this. |
Poor Assembly at the factory leaves MUCH to be desired

Well...I ordered this for my father who has become wheelchair bound and thought it would be good for his legs while sitting. This mini cycle arrived needing the feet attached. No big deal except the washers they sent didn't fit on the screws to the feet. The tension didn't work at all so I opened the thing up to find that many internal parts were poorly assembled. Lose parts and one piece held in with hot glue where where a nut and bolt were obviously meant to go. After a few hour of tinkering and doing my own repairs I think the thing will now work...we'll see.
Think the seller need to up the level of quality control. |
