| I bought my Magnetrainer to exercise my knees while I do other things, like watch TV or work on the computer. It is not going to challenge you physically unless you are REALLY out of shape, but great for keeping active with your lower body without having to have a lot of room for more challenging equipment. It was stable on a carpeted floor without use of a tether -- although, again, I'm just going for toning and activity, not speed or major tension. I do think it would be best with a chair that has a fairly high seat, so I think I will probably come up with a stool of some sort to use with it; otherwise, it's essentially attempting to be a recumbent bike, which it is not. The gauge is easy to use. I tend not to think much about mileage or calories, just time, so I'm fine with accuracy. In all, for the way I intend to use this bike, I am thoroughly pleased with it. |

| I purchased this bike for my 85 year old Father. He had lost movement in his legs due to a mild stroke. Since using this bike he has regained some of his movement and is now able to get out of bed on his own as well as other small tasks. The bike is very nicely constructed and gives him the resistance he needs. The service I recieved was fast, reliable and on time. I would recommend this bike and seller. I would buy from them again. |

| Sturdy machine, timely delivery, very stable due to the spread feet for either foot use or arm use on a table. I have not used it for leg exercises so i have not used the Velcro straps that anchor it to your chair. Very smooth exercises; I use it for hard arm exercise to raise my heart rate. The motion is very smoooth, with infinite adjustability. Easy to assemble, a wrench comes with it. |

| I bought this for upper body exercise after rotator cuff surgery. The adjustable resistance allowed me to start off with an easy workout and increase the difficulty as my shoulder got stronger. It is a high quality product, well designed and easy to use. I could not be more pleased. |

This is a wonderful idea, a peddle machine that replaces that big ugly exercise bike that took up room in my house for years. I can exercise while sitting in a recliner watching TV or sitting at the desk on the computer.
One (minor) drawback is that it requires tethering to the chair legs with a rather inconvenient Velcro strap (included with the machine). Otherwise, the peddling pushes the machine away from the peddler. Not a problem if you can leave the machine in the same place all the time, but a hassle each time you move it out of the way of the chair and later set it back up again. |
